Festive Events at Keeling's Vintage Fun Fair

Children aged 2 and upwards can ride, with inner seats offering a ‘gentle’ ride and outer seats providing a faster swing out for older kids. Rides on Santa's Swing cost £2.50 each and we accept cash or card payments. Take memorable photographs to look back on, under the warm glow of the 200 vintage 'Edison Style' Lights and enjoy the sounds of your favourite Christmas tunes from our musical Panatrope.

At weekends, Brookside Miniature Railway will be running magical trips past Santa's Factory where he can often be seen waving as the trains pass by. There are also a fantastic array of cut Christmas trees available to purchase within the garden centre, with a team of experts on hand to help you choose the right one for your home. The Topiary Restaurant will be serving winter specials, hot drinks, lunches and cakes to warm you up on those crisp winter days. There are many festive displays throughout the garden centre as well as various retail outlets to visit onsite.

Our Mini Festive Vintage Fun Fair is open on selected dates and times throughout December, located inside the main garden centre adjacent to the Christmas Trees and Singing Reindeer.

Back at High Legh this Christmas after a two year absence is our popular ‘Toyland Roundabout’, a colourful hand painted platform ride where little ones can choose from a selection of vehicles to drive, ranging from a tug boat to a train, a helicopter or safari jeep. Theres even a seat for a grown ups to accompany those who are not quite ready to ride alone.

Also back for 2023 are the Vintage High Flying Swing Boats, for kids in search of a bit more excitement. This quintessential British fairground attraction operates exactly the same way they would have done in victorian times, with the boats propelled into the air by pulling a rope. Children can control just how high they go in the boats either on their own or with a friend. The ride is always supervised by a member of our team. Not forgetting our Traditional Family Hook a Duck game, housed in an original 1930s fairground stall, this is really not one to miss out on. Our ducks swim around on real water and everyone gets to walk away with a prize of their choice. Make memories to last a lifetime, take photographs to look back on and enjoy the sounds of your favourite Christmas tunes from our musical Panatrope.

The High Legh Miniature Railway is running a Santa Express at weekends where passengers can catch a train to see Santa Claus himself and receive a small gift from his grotto, with the option to disembark here into the vintage fairground. There are also a fantastic array of cut Christmas trees available to purchase within the garden centre, with a team of experts on hand to help you choose the right one for your home. The Topiary Restaurant will be serving winter specials, hot drinks, lunches and cakes to warm you up after your visit to the fairground. Don’t forget to go and see the stunning Lemax Alpine Village, famous singing reindeer and many festive displays throughout the garden centre, as well as visiting the various retail outlets onsite.

If you are planning a visit to the mini vintage fun fair, theres no need to pre book, just be sure of our opening times before heading over. We accept cash or card payments. Rides cost £2.50 each and Hook a Duck £4 each with a prize included every time. This means kids can enjoy Two Rides and a Game for only £9.
